Welcome to the Eastern Veterans Cycle Club
Eastern Vets is a
club that organises road races on most Saturday afternoons through the year
specifically for mature age cyclists in a competitive but friendly
environment.
With the exception of club championships, all races are open
to all AVCC licensed riders, veterans riders being women over the age of 30
and men over the age of 35.
The club currently boasts around 200 members
and is always looking for new racers of any age or standard.

METEC Summer Crits
The METEC summer crits start this coming Tuesday 7th October 2008 and will run until 31st of March 2009.Racing will be graded scratch races of approximately 1 hour, with prize money for 1st 2nd 3rd in each grade.
There will be an aggregate points trophy awarded to the winner at the end of the summer crit season.
Racing starts at 6pm sharp and entry is $5.00.

The Basin Hill Climb
Sassafras – September 20th
A new day and a new time were not enough to coax a few more members out to pit themselves against the infamous one in twenty from the Basin to Sassafras. Despite the weather coming to the party a couple of no shows meant that it was only thirty-nine starters for the annual Eastern Vets hill climb time-trial.
